We’re a network of advocates and community leaders in Louisville, Kentucky committed to leveraging our shared experience and expertise to meet the needs of our neighbors. Operating under an increased mindset of scarcity, our organizations are often forced to limit access to the resources we’re meant to provide, increasing risk and creating isolation across our city. Tired of being fearful and frustrated, we’ve realized the problems we face cannot be addressed alone.
Our Approach.
Our organizations have been designed to provide services in ways that increasingly don’t match up with how the world really works. When someone experiences a crisis, often a single organization cannot address all of their needs. And accessing multiple resources at once is a process shot through with difficulties: from filling out the right paperwork, maintaining access to a smart phone and internet, finding reliable transportation, feeding a family, to juggling the responsibilities of caring for children or the elderly there’s an endless list of hurdles to getting the resources we need day to day to keep a crisis from turning into a catastrophe. We know this intimately. So our network works in 3 ways:
